Forms of Payment

The Williamson County Clerk Office accepts cash and checks on Tennessee banks only. Checks should be made payable to Williamson County Clerk and should include your current TN Driver License number and daytime phone number. Starter checks and checks without a name and address pre-printed will not be accepted.

Credit cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. A 2% convenience fee will be charged on all credit and debit card transactions. This fee is collected by a third party processor.

Checks are not accepted as form of payment for the purchase of a marriage license.
